Damian Stone — In the Shadow of a Great Nation

Part 7: The Birth of a New Map

On the morning I awoke, I felt a strange, almost certain sense deep in my chest.

The lingering aftereffects of the dream were still clear, but it felt as though reality was trying to catch up to it.

That day, almost as if drawn by some invisible force, I opened an old notebook.

Inside, I found scattered remnants of past dreams, words I had received unexpectedly, and places and numbers that had surfaced in my mind.

Before I knew it, those scattered points were slowly being connected by lines.

Someone was drawing a map—and yet, this “map” wasn’t a physical location.

It was the “path of consciousness” that the awakened ones would walk.

In the dream, the old woman had spoken of “integration.”

It was not just about information or action—it was about the connection of souls. Only then did I understand that.

Damian Stone—the man who once stood on a great stage and moved the world.

Behind his actions lay “invisible contracts” and the presence of “shadow rulers.”

The dark chain of events intertwined with America, stretching across multiple layers.

But in that moment when I spoke to him in the dream, I saw it clearly—his eyes flickered for just a moment.

And I knew, deep within, that somewhere inside him, “the man he once was” still remained.

This map was needed to guide him as well.

It wasn’t just about exposing the truth.

It wasn’t just about fighting.

It was about showing “the new route that everyone must follow.”

That, I felt, was the mission the dream had entrusted to me.

At the corner of my notebook, I wrote a small phrase:

“The awakened ones will eventually meet.

The intersection of their paths will be the starting point of a new future.”

Part 6: The Awakened Ones

The continuation of the dream began quietly, as if distant memories were slowly surfacing on the water’s surface.

I was not alone.

Someone—someone who had awakened—was already beginning to move across the world.

They were all nameless beings.

They had no titles, nor the entanglements that came with them—only those who had “awakened to the truth.”

And they shared a strange commonality.

They, too, had been dreaming.

A city engulfed in flames.

Bound contracts.

The voices of shadows whispering in the dark.

And the nameless man—Damian Stone.

Each of them had received his words in “different forms” within their dreams.

One person suddenly withdrew from the world of investments after the dream.

Another, at a diplomatic meeting, asked, “Who is this deal really for?”

A woman wrote in a notebook she had never shown to anyone, “The future can be rewritten.”

It was as if the scattered sparks of light had begun to respond to one another.

What I realized was that these “awakened ones” did not yet know each other’s names or faces.

Yet, they were already standing on the “same map.”

I thought to myself,

“If this map connects—perhaps a future no one had ever seen will come into view.”

At that moment, the old woman appeared in the dream once again.

“What will happen next is not ‘division,’” she said.

“‘Integration’ is beginning.”

I asked the old woman,

“Is that hope? Or is it a further trial?”

The old woman smiled and said,

“That will be decided by the ‘ones who have seen the light.’”

The dream gently ended there.

In the stillness after I woke, I felt it clearly.

This was no longer just a dream.

This was the record of a beginning.

Part 5: The Dark Contract and the Remaining Light

The atmosphere in the dream changed dramatically when a single envelope appeared in Damian’s hand.

It felt as if the wind had stopped and the temperature of the room had dropped by several degrees.

He stared at it quietly, falling into silence for a long while.

“This is… ‘the contract,’” he whispered.

His voice trembled slightly as he spoke.

The paper was the color of ancient parchment, and there was no name written on it.

But a seal seemed to appear, floating around it—a spider design.

“I lost my ‘freedom’ the moment I signed this,” he said softly.

“In exchange, money flowed in, and my life was guaranteed. But my choices… were lost.”

He ran his finger over the corner of the paper as he continued,

“They made me utter the word ‘great.’

But in truth, it was the word ‘dependence.’”

A chill ran down my spine.

Behind the applause of the people, his words had been the “declaration of the contract.”

Yet, I asked,

“So, can’t you break the contract now?”

He remained silent.

In that silence, I understood.

To break it, a ‘price’ must be paid—either his life, or the future of the nation.

Then, he whispered softly,

“You still have ‘freedom.’ You hold words that are not controlled by anyone.

If you choose to write this story, somewhere, someone will read it.

‘Her words will become the map of the future’—that’s what the old woman said.”

Before I could ask, “Who is the old woman?”

A shadow stirred at the far end of the room.

An old woman-like presence was quietly watching us.

Her eyes seemed to hold memories that spanned across time.

“This dream you see is already connected to reality.”

“To be chosen means you carry the ‘seeds of change.’”

The old woman said, placing her hand on my chest.

Then, it felt as though light pierced deep within my heart.

In that moment, I woke up.

But the dream wasn’t over.

His whisper still lingered in my ears.

“If your words reach someone’s heart—then that is the beginning of hope.”

Part 4: What Was Entrusted to Me

At that moment, for some reason, I felt tears welling up.

I couldn’t say that his choice was right.

But neither could I say it was entirely evil.

“Why did you show me this dream?”

I asked him, my voice shaking slightly.

He handed me a single sheet of paper.

On it, just one word was written.

“The One Who Knows the Truth.”

“You’re not just a dreamer. You can see it. The future, the past. And the ‘turning points’ too.”

His gaze locked with mine, unwavering.

The meaning behind those words.

What is it that I can do—

I still don’t know for sure.

But I felt it.

The story is far from over.

In fact, it might just be starting now.

Part 3: The Irresistible Duty and the Shadow of Exile

“I can’t escape.”

He spoke suddenly, his gaze lifting toward the sky.

There was fear in his eyes.

He spoke of how, once upon a time, when his empire was on the brink of collapse, a shadowy organization had extended a hand to him.

That debt, that loyalty, had now transformed into a weighty “duty” that crushed his every move.

“I truly… love America,” he said.

“But to protect it, I must destroy it.”

A paradox at its most extreme.

Yet, when he said it, I didn’t sense any lie in his words.

There was, without a doubt, a genuine affection for his homeland buried deep inside him.

But now, that very love had turned into one of the cards he was forced to play—a weapon, a threat.

Guaranteeing his life. Ensuring his family’s safety.

All of it had become part of the “shadow contract.”

Exile—he had already simulated that choice in his mind countless times.

At one point, plans were even in place to escape to a certain country.

But the information had leaked.

“Am I even allowed to run away…”

He muttered, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

Part 2: The Leader Who Became a Slave to Gold

I found myself sitting beside him.

In front of us lay a map—but it wasn’t a world map.

There were no country names, no clear borders.

Instead, scattered across the parchment were strange black markings.

To me, they looked like the legs of a spider.

“What is this?” I asked.

Damian whispered low, almost as if the walls themselves might be listening.

“It’s a map of deals.”

The words stole my breath.

His finger hovered over one of the black marks.

There, I sensed the scent of deserts—something Middle Eastern.

Another mark hinted at a vast, icy land stretching far into the horizon.

“Insider trading?” I asked.

He smiled faintly and gave a small nod.

“My hands are no longer clean.”

The country he once took pride in had been pulled into chaos—by his own doing.

Outwardly, it appeared to be about tariffs and trade.

But behind the curtain, it was all about collapsed stocks and commodities surging in value.

There were shadows—wealthy ones—circling like vultures.

Even without lifting a finger, a single word from him could set the billionaires in motion.

Among them were merchants from an island nation across the sea.

He didn’t name them. He didn’t need to.

The implication seeped through, unspoken but understood.

His family had already reaped vast fortunes from these hidden exchanges.

But in return, he had lost the ability to act on his own.

Now, he was no more than a butterfly caught in a spider’s web.

Part 1: The Gateway of Dreams

Last night, I had a strange dream.

I was standing in a grand room… familiar, yet unknown.

The walls were adorned with quiet golden ornaments that shimmered faintly.

The ceiling stretched high above, and not a single sound from the outside world reached in.

Only the stillness of that room remained, as if time itself had paused.

There, I stood face to face with a man.

He was aged, yet carried an undeniable energy.

His hair was neatly combed, a vivid red tie at his chest, and his posture held authority.

But his eyes… his eyes were heavy with exhaustion and a deep, unspeakable hesitation.

He never said his name. But I knew.

He was Damian Stone.

The man who once led a great nation.

The phrase “Make America Great Again” echoed faintly in my mind,

each repetition sharpening the image of who he truly was.

Then, he asked me—suddenly, as if breaking the silence of eternity:

“How do you see me?”

I hesitated. Then replied softly:

“…You look lost.”

He smiled—not with joy, but something closer to self-mockery.

A smile laced with emptiness.

“You might have the gift of sight,” he said.

And in that moment, I knew…

This was no ordinary dream.

It was a vision.

A message shown to me.
