Just silence stretching on forever.

The horizon of the universe.

And there, I faced him.

I hadn’t called for him. I wasn’t searching.

Yet he was already there—

as if it had been decided from the beginning.

No words were spoken.

But our reunion was deeper and more certain than any words.

There had been a hollow space within me for so long,

and he slipped into it—

as if he had always belonged there.

It wasn’t love. It was restoration.

So we simply smiled at each other in silence.
